I rather like these simple, rhythm-driven mini-games. The pace isn‘t too brisk, and a single round doesn‘t demand much mental effort, making it perfect for those spare moments. You might crash repeatedly at first, but once you get the hang of it, things flow much more smoothly. The colour palette is well-balanced, offering a splendid visual experience. There are a few drawbacks, though: firstly, the obstacle design can feel abrupt at times, occasionally catching you completely off guard. Secondly, the control detection can feel imprecise at times – you‘ll find yourself tumbling where it clearly should have been a smooth pass. That said, despite these quibbles, clearing each challenge delivers a satisfying sense of accomplishment. Particularly when you nail a fluid sequence of spins – it‘s genuinely rather thrilling.
