To be honest, it’s far too difficult for those of us who aren’t the best at games. You have to clear every level with just one life. The first level isn’t too bad—with a bit of practice, you can get past it quickly—but from the second level onwards, the difficulty spikes dramatically. There are no save points, so you have to practise over and over again to memorise every spot where you’re likely to die. When you’ve died ten times in a row in the same place, you really do feel like giving up. But! This game is seriously addictive. When you pull off a seamless combo like ‘sprint → slide tackle → jump → mid-air slash → landing roll’, that sense of satisfaction is something no other game can match. And when you finally beat the level after dying fifty times, that sense of achievement is absolutely brilliant. The craziest thing is—one second you’re swearing, ‘What a rubbish game!’, and the next second you’ve died and it’s auto-reset, and you’re back at it, playing with total focus.
